We wound up here by a very happy accident when the seafood spot we chose was closed on New Year's Day. This place looks terrible. Tiny spot in a strip mall. Fluorescent lighting and cashier behind glass. Don't let this deter you. This was hands down the best fried catfish, shrimp, and oysters we have ever eaten. Fresh, generous portions on everything. Don't skip the perfectly crispy, slightly spicy hush puppies. This is a take out place for sure but don't wait until you get all the way back home before you start eating.
I have to admit that the first time I drove up in front of this restaurant, I decided to move on. But being new here, I kept searching for restaurants, and this place was always highly ranked. They have some of the best PoBoys around. The other food is great as well and it's priced very reasonably.. So then why did I rate them a 4 rather than a five. They need to remove lots of old signs from the windows. And it's a shame, butt they only have a couple of tables. I recommend take out.
You can't beat these deals! Wonderful service, quality seafood done right. This hidden gem deserves more recognition.
Husband and I just split a large Shrimp Poboy. It was very good. The shrimp was freshly fried for our order. It was well dressed. Dragon Seafood has a few tables, but we had ours in our car. It is a basic place with an excellent Poboy. Glad we stopped
Oh what a wonderful build your own steam platter...head on shrimp, snow crab, and open on a holiday!! Definitely recommend this place. I didn't rate atmosphere because I did order online for carryout. Yum! Sorry, too busy eating to take pics!!
I never leave reviews(EVER) but this hidden gem has thankfully broken that streak. Last week I got the Special Steamed Plate and today I got the Large Oyster PoBoy and both are the best that I've ever had! Affordable and very delicious this place should be your next seafood restaurant destination.
Straight forward, good seafood simply prepared without tons of seasoning. My son loves it.
I'm just going to be completely honest and upfront here; Dragon Seafood is phenomenal. It is absurd to me that only 4 reviews exist of this place, which tells me it must be a hidden gem. Dont let the name fool you into thinking this is a chinese fast food suspect seafood joint; it's not. I had the boiled shrimp plate, seasoned perfectly with the trusty Old Bay. This is far better than the steamed shrimp I've had in recent past at Kravers; which I no way expected to be the case. That mixed with the great customer service is a recipe for success.
